Workplace Policy
1. PURPOSE & SCOPE
This Workplace Policy outlines the standards, rules, and responsibilities that ensure safe, ethical, and efficient operations at Aamram International LLP. It applies to all employees, contractors, interns, and visitors across farms, processing units, packaging facilities, and offices.
2. CODE OF CONDUCT
All employees must maintain professionalism, integrity, and respect towards colleagues, customers, and stakeholders. Discrimination, harassment, or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.Confidential business information (farm techniques, customer lists, export documents) must be safeguarded.
3. WORKPLACE SAFETY
Safety gear (gloves, boots, aprons, helmets, masks) must be worn in farms and manufacturing facilities. Machinery should only be operated by trained personnel.Emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and first-aid kits must remain accessible at all times. Any accident or injury must be reported immediately to the supervisor.
4. FOOD SAFETY & HYGIENE
Employees must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) guidelines. Hand washing and sanitization are mandatory before handling mangoes or by-products. Smoking, chewing tobacco, or eating in production/processing areas is strictly prohibited. All raw materials must be inspected for quality and stored under appropriate conditions.
5. ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
Aamram International LLP is committed to sustainable farming and eco-friendly production.Use of pesticides and fertilizers must follow recommended guidelines to avoid contamination. Water and energy conservation practices must be followed in both farms and factories. Waste management procedures (organic waste composting, packaging recycling) must be strictly implemented.
6. ATTENDECE & WORKING HOURS
Employees must follow designated work schedules and report on time. Absence must be communicated to supervisors in advance. Overtime, if required, will be compensated as per company policy and labour laws.
7. QUALITY CONTROL
All mangoes and by-products (pulp, slices, powders etc. ) must pass quality checks before packaging. Employees must adhere to ISO, HACCP, and FSSAI standards where applicable. Any deviation or defect must be reported immediately to the Quality Control team
8. ANTI-CORRUPTION & FAIR TRADE
Bribery, kickbacks, or unethical dealings with vendors or distributors are strictly prohibited.All sourcing, sales, and export transactions must follow fair trade practices.
9. EMPLOYEE WELFARE
The company provides a safe, inclusive, and growth-oriented workplace. Training sessions on safety, hygiene, and technical skills will be conducted periodically.Grievance redressal mechanisms are available for employees to voice concerns.
10. PREVENTION OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT (PoSH) POLICY
Aamram International LLP is committed to a workplace free from sexual harassment and aligned with the PoSH Act, 2013.
10.1 DEFINATION
Sexual harassment includes unwelcome acts such as:
- Physical contact or advances
- Demand or request for sexual favours
- Sexually coloured remarks
- Showing pornography
Any unwelcome verbal, non-verbal, or physical conduct of a sexual nature
10.2 INTERNAL COMPLAINTS COMMITEE (ICC)
An Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is constituted as per law.
ICC will include:
- Presiding Officer (woman employee at senior level)
- At least two members from staff
- One external member (NGO/Legal expert)
- ICC details (names & contact info) will be displayed on notice boards..
10.3 COMPLAINT PROCEDURE
Complaints may be submitted in writing within 3 months of the incident.
Complaints may be filed with the ICC or HR.
Confidentiality of the complainant will be maintained.
10.4 INQUIRY AND ACTION
ICC will conduct a fair and impartial inquiry within 90 days.
Based on findings, action may include:
- Written apology
- Warning
- Suspension or termination
- Counselling sessions
- Malicious complaints, if proven, may also invite disciplinary action.
10.5 AWARENESS AND TRAINING
Regular workshops and sensitization sessions will be conducted.
All employees must undergo mandatory PoSH awareness training.
11. COMPLIANCE
All operations must comply with applicable laws including:
- PoSH Act, 2013
- Factories Act, 1948
- Food Safety & Standards Act, 2006
- Occupational Safety, Health & Working Conditions Code, 2020 Environmental Protection Act, 1986
12. DISCIPLINARY ACTION
Failure to follow the workplace policy may result in disciplinary action, which may include:
- Verbal or written warning
- Suspension
- Termination of employment
13. POLICY REVIEW
This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with Aamram International LLP’s business objectives.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
All employees are required to read, understand, and comply with this Workplace Policy. A signed acknowledgment must be submitted to HR.
